Resolved Using GIF or other moving file format for token image

Is it possible to create a token and use a GIF or other moving file format as the token image? If so which formats will allow movement to be viewed? I have tried testing with a GIF and so far it is just showing a static image.

Hi! As the token image will be hosted by yourself and referenced in the metadata then it should be fine to use an animated gif or something, it should show like any normal animated gif on websites etc.

Ok well like I said it will show a frame of the image but it is static. I tried with APNG as well to the same effect - static image when viewing in the wallet.

Hello there!

At the moment, we have no ETA on when we plan to implement this, however you can suggest this feature at our official feedback site (feedback.enjin.io) and we can look into it further for you from there.

Best regards,
Esther
